I have a Lego RCX and NXT and a Vex and so the software is attractive. I have two issues. The first is that the firmware is a modified version and so I wonder if the changes can be synchronized with the official lego updates. The second is the authors are encouraging people to beta test the code for free without making it clear that this is commercial software. I would expect courseware to be sold, but I had assumed the software was free. This will not the case when the software is released. I don't mind paying for software, but I do believe in full disclosure.
