New Wiki needs your help
Mitchell emailed me and asked "do you think that the RCX world is "Fractured" as such? I kinda do, because there is no one place that everyone can look at everyone's stuff, it's just plastered all over the internet."
Mitchell pointed me to www.nxt-mindstorms.com and is asking for contributors to help build the wiki. Check it out here.

Comments
I am not sure I completely understand. This comment seems to point to a far deeper issue than the lack of a centralized repository for NXT knowledge. Don't get me wrong: I think the NXT Wikipedia is a great idea.
However I do not think it is either practical or desirable to make it a central repository for "everyone's stuff...plastered all over the Internet". One of the strengths of the Internet lies in its distributed nature: how it distributes bandwidth, server capacity, and (not the least important) fault tolerance. Putting everything in one place is *not* a good idea. Putting links to "everyone's stuff" in a central place *is* a good idea.
One of the purposes of The NXT STEP is to point readers to "other places" - we depend on readers to email us or post comments about things of interest... like this wiki.
Please keep us informed if you find interesting NXT news and things in your Internet travels...
I spose it all depends on what the mindstorms community wants. If they want something like a wiki, it will work well. If they don't, it will just be ignored. I suppose time will tell.
