Built On The Rock Wins NJ State Tournament!

Built On The Rock, the FLL team I participate in, had their state tournament yesterday in Mt. Olive highschool, NJ. With two perfect 400's out of three rounds, we won the Robot Performance and Champions awards, and will be going on to Atlanta for the World Championships! The award in the left of the picture is the Champion's award (note it's bigger than the right one), and the one on the right is the 1st place Robot Performance award. Our robot is in the middle on top of a pie (traditional thing in NJ - they give pies to all the winners :) ).

Congrats! You have nice lookin' robot, do you have any more pictures of it? And what programming language did you use?
Thanks, Robolab. We used NXT-G (only move blocks, to be specific). No, we aren't releasing any pictures of the robot until after Atlanta, so that our ideas will be kept secret.

That's a sharp looking bot, too.

Amazing that flat-out rotations can get you 400 points nowadays! So you didn't use any other sensor? I think I see a touch bumper in the front?
Nope, we only use the built-in rotation sensors. It's actually quite easy to do as long as you make the missions work with slight variability.
