Very nice design, but you can tell that motor is straining to turn the front-end on those carpets. It's almost fighting against itself to turn.

This seems like an easy way out for 4wd with a rack and pinion (like) steering. I bet you could make quite a good robot if you had several segments that undulated, sort of like those snake robots, but with a car like drive system.
