FLL Teams Train at The Virginia State Fair

FIRST LEGO League teams were invited to exhibit alongside of the FIRST Robotics (high school ages) teams at the Virginia State Fair. The fair started on September 27 and will last through to October 7. This was a great opportunity for FLL teams to do outreach and to encourage participation we had asked teams to merely show for one of their regular practices. Virginia FLL had provided a table with the Power Puzzle field setup and LEGO Billund had donated some wonderful Alpha Rex banners and sticker sheets for the kids.

To date we have scheduled over 30 hours of practice time at the fair. Included are some shots from FLL team 668 who had taken a 4 hour shift on Sunday.
