NXT-G version 1.1 now available in Shop@home

Today, I learned that the NXT-G 1.1 cd with Item code: 4524081 is available at the Shop@home.
Unfortunately not in my country, even though the CD holds the Dutch language.

The LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT software version 1.1 CD-ROM provides support for Windows Vista (both 32-bit and 64-bit) and Intel-based Mac computers. Programs and sound files are compiled more effectively and faster so they use less space on the NXT microcomputer. This CD includes the following languages: English, French, German, Dutch and Japanese.

I think it will be a matter of time until the CD ships to The Netherlands.

I live in the Netherlands.
I contacted Lego via Lego Store Netherlands - Contact.
They responded immediately and send me the CD in 3 days.
I payed afterwards by bank.
The price was 15.47 euro including post and package.

Any idea on how to get the 1.1 software if you just bought a robotics kit? Do you have to purchase the 1.1 software, or do you get it as a free upgrade for a recent Kit purchase?

Now that there is new software perhaps someone can respond to the fact that I haven't been able to install the old software. It has been a year now. LEGO has been no help. I get this message:fatal error: required NIPatssDir property NIMDFMANIFESTDIR is undefined
Any help is appreciated.

Eric,

Last I read, someone got their NXT-G 1.1 as part of the "Guranteed Free NXT-G 1.1 for any purchase after May 1" by calling Customer Support. They should help somehow.

OK. I got a split tire in the kit too, so I have to call the Customer Support to get that replaced. I'll ask about the 1.1 Upgrade too.

I live in the Netherland. Two weeks a go I asked LEGO where I could get NXT-G 1.1 software. I contacted LEGO by clicking on the "CONTACT US" on the LEGO website and the selected “EMAIL LEGO”. A view days later I received the NXT-G 1.1 software. Free of charge and shipping costs!

Also not available in Germany. :-(
I wonder why.

I must say the fact this is paying is a bitter disappointment to me. I've been waiting for a native intel version for Mac for more than a year now, and now I have to pay for it? Now if the kit included some extra parts, it might make sense, but no.

I was already dissatified when they launched MDP2 without barely warning anyone, now this... I don't get it.

I e-mailed them (lego)
will they send me one before e-mailing me or after?

I just want to be able to send commands to the NXT with bluetooth from my Intel Mac, is there a separate download for that or do I need to purchase this kit?
