"Strutter": An NXT Peacock from the Book, "LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT Zoo"

This kid-friendly book will be published by No Starch Press in February 2008. It has step-by-step building instructions for nine animal robots, complete programming instructions for each robot, teacher's guide, troubleshooting guide and a guide to making animal sounds for your robots.

You're making us wait until Feb 2008? Looks like I'll be buying another NXT book. Between this Kelly's books, I'll be broke! My son will really enjoy making animal robots - just make sure a dinosaur is in there!

That is definitely going on my son's list of gifts. He's 5 (soon to be 6) but I know he can handle the building. I think I'll end up doing the programming... :)
