Wiimote The Easy Way


Using a "Wiimote" to control the NXT has been done before; but Jordan Fitzpatrick did it using GlovePIE and my Bluetooth remote - very simple. You can watch Jordan's video here and download the GlovePIE scripts here. To connect your "Wiimote" to your PC please follow this link. Wii-power to Jordan

I recently found this blog in a Google search. I made the Dazlr with my NXT, I was wondering if any of you out there could help me figure out a way to make it so that my NXT responds to hotkeys, then make my WIImote activate hotkeys. Therefore making it so that my WIImote controls my NXT like a RC car or truck?

HI, I wanted to download the GlovePIE scripts, but you have to download a special downloading software of some kind. Is there a way I can download them without installing the software?

Jojoguy10 - just enter the three letters in the top right hand corner and wait 60 seconds - then you can download the scipts

Thanks for your comment, It really helped alot.
But now im having problems with connecting my NXT to my computer, the bluesoleil application says that my NXT is connected. But when I go to scan for it in the NXT-software, it says no devices found.

HELP!!!!! i have downloaded the glove pie script from megauploads and now i dont know what to do! i cant open the file. please could you tell me exactly what to do(as if i were a dummy) after you download it! PLEASE!!

you need to download glovepie and opent the script link your wiimote and then it should work also unzip it

Hello, when i open the remote it tells me: nxt-remote is not a valid Win32 Application.. What does this mean????

Cody Simonsen-You can also do it by downloading darwiinmote and using the remote control in the software that comes with the disk, you need bluetooth.
